Seaton High School is home to a student population of over 1000 students from an array of backgrounds and cultures.

As a modern, inclusive, innovative and dynamic school, we focus on students as individuals, and offer a range of programs and opportunities that meet their diverse interests and needs.

A high priority is placed on providing each year level with strong, visible leadership, tight management, and thorough follow-up.

Supporting our Students

We offer programs for students with diverse learning abilities, including:

• students with high intellectual potential (SHIP)

• students experiencing learning difficulties.

In partnership with community and vocational organisations, Seaton also offers Inclusive Education classes to provide pathways toward employment and adult life.

Holistic Wellbeing

At Seaton, as in life, wellbeing extends beyond formal programs, dedicated facilities and caring, responsive wellbeing specialists.

In addition to these important resources, which are available to all students, the Seaton community strives to incorporate health, happiness and wellbeing into every aspect of our school – because all three are vital for effective learning.

Seaton High School Governing Council

Parents, staff, students and representatives from the community are elected annually to the Governing Council. It meets to decide matters regarding the school directions, finances and facilities, and receive reports of the school’s activities.

Beyond the School Gates

Location: Approx. 15 minutes west of Adelaide city centre and five minutes from the beach.

Main feeder primary schools: Hendon, Grange and West Lakes Shore.

Additional feeder primary schools: Alberton, Westport, Seaton Park, Kidman Park, Largs Bay and Woodville Primary Schools.

Local attractions: West Lakes, West Lakes Shopping Centre, West Lakes Aquatics Centre and the beach.
