Starting Secondary School
Students currently in Year 6 who will be starting secondary school next year are included in the Statewide transition process.
Stage 1 – Registration of interest: Occurs in May where families submit a ‘registration of interest’ form.
Stage 2 – Allocation: This occurs in August, when families receive an enrolment offer from their allocated secondary school.
For further enquiries about this process, please contact your child’s primary school in the first instance.
Enquiries for the current school year can be made by completing the enrolment enquiry form. Families will receive an acknowledgement email once the enquiry has been received. Additional information may be requested along with proof of birth and residence documents.
Out of zone enquiries: A range of factors are taken into account including availability of spaces.
Enrolment enquiries for the following year can be made from Term 4 (current year).
